About
Coordinated a production crew for two trips to France, totaling 20 production days across 3 cities, to capture video content for Connexions francophones, an online intermediate French course co-developed by the University of Texas.
Production involved pre-arranged interviews with associated b-roll, multi-scene skits featuring local actors, and person-on-the-street segments with the goal of capturing the culture of each city to enhance the educational experience.
Day to day during the production, I led a 4 person crew and oversaw the efficient set-up of gear in dozens of locations while maintaining high production value and flexibility. I also coordinated closely with academic staff to ensure all needed content was captured and overcame directing talent through a language barrier to ensure best production outcomes.
